Friesian-L was created just for the love of the breed, to give a place for other lovers of the breed to come and talk. As such we have *NO* interest in violating your privacy.
We do not run this web site or mailing list as a business, but as our way of trying to support the Freisian breed. Hopefully we can introduce more people to our fuzzy, black friends, or at least provide a friendly place to let everyone know that there are more of us out there. The list is free to join and free to use. But please do not steal the graphics. Most of the art and design work on this site is made by us and holds the usual copyrights.
What does this mean? It means that if you subscribe to this mailing list your address will NOT be sold or placed onto any spammers mailing lists at all. Visiting this web site will also not put you into any jeopardy either. We do not collect names, addresses, phone numbers or anything else for that matter. It's neat to see how many people visit this site, but that's about it.
But what about advertising?Nope, no spam.
How can we trust you?Let me put it this way. I spent 5 years as email postmaster of a large international company. My job was to make sure that millions (yes, millions) of emails were delivered correctly. And I HATE spam! Make $$$ Fast, pornographic, chain letters, loopers, lame jokes, macro viruses, mail floods... I've seen it all, including being paged at 3AM in the morning from a sound sleep to stop or fix it, and been up two days straight to finish it. Let me say it again: I HATE spam and my real job included fighting it daily.
